Using aloe face cream has many benefits. Aloe has natural healing and anti-inflammatory properties, so it can help to heal and reverse skin damage caused by sun exposure, pollutants, and other factors. Those with skin conditions like acne, psoriasis and skin rashes could benefit greatly from using aloe face cream as a part of a regular skin care regimen. Many anti-aging beauty products contain aloe which, among other things, stimulates cell rejuvenation. The gel found in the leaves of the aloe plant is a natural moisturizer and skin conditioner.

Due to its healing and anti-inflammatory properties, aloe is commonly used as an ingredient in many beauty, skin care, and medicinal products. While there are over 300 different species of aloe, the one most commonly found in aloe face cream is aloe vera. Aloe vera is a plant that needs little watering or care to survive, making it easy to grow at home. Many consider the gel in the aloe vera plant to be an excellent home remedy that can be applied directly to burns, scrapes and insect bites for quick relief and accelerated healing.

Aloe face cream is an excellent moisturizer for those with oily skin. While even oily skin will benefit greatly from regular moisturizing, the wrong kind of moisturizer can cause breakouts, clog the pores, and make the skin look shiny and greasy. Face cream made with aloe, however, is non-greasy, and will not clog the pores or irritate the skin. It is also quickly absorbed into the skin, so the skin will be able to breathe. Many people with oily skin also suffer from acne, and must use great care when choosing a moisturizer. An acne sufferer might find that, once she begins to use an aloe face cream, her acne scars heal faster, and she experiences fewer breakouts.

While there are many commercial skin care products available that contain aloe, it is possible to create a homemade aloe face cream. A homemade aloe cream can be made in a few easy steps using a few simple ingredients, including aloe vera gel and skin nourishing essential oils like rose oil. The cream is made by first melting beeswax in a double boiler. Next, the beeswax, heated essential oil, and aloe vera gel are added to a blender and blended for a few minutes. After being allowed to cool thoroughly, the homemade aloe face moisturizer is then poured into a sterile container and sealed.

@heavanet- You should try using pure aloe face gel. Though it is not a typical lotion, it goes on smoothly and is very soothing. Since pure aloe gel doesn't contain a lot of other additives and ingredients, it is less likely to cause you to have an allergic reaction than other types of aloe face cream. It is also very refreshing to use during the warm, summer months after spending a day in the sun.

@heavanet- When you shop around for an aloe face cream, you should look for one that has very few ingredients on the label. The fewer the ingredients, the less likely that the product will cause skin irritation.

Some ingredients that you should definitely avoid are fragrance, perfume, parabens, and petroleum-based oils. Since these ingredients can aggravate sensitive skin and cause allergic reactions, they should be avoided. This is why the purer the aloe cream, the better it will be for your skin.

I've heard that aloe face cream is great for sunburned skin, but I've never tried it because I have sensitive skin. Many types of creams and lotions cause my skin to become very irritated. What is the best type of aloe face cream to use for skin that is prone to allergic reactions from various products?
