What is Low VOC Paint?

Low VOC paint is a paint with reduced levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Low VOC paint is especially recommended for parents, because children are particularly vulnerable to health problems from VOCs. Being exposed to these compounds can cause breathing problems and other health issues in a developing child.
