The state of Maine is one of the most beautiful, picturesque places in the United States, with miles of beaches, lakes, and forests. With all the amazing opportunities for outdoors activities and other great recreational pursuits, there are many attractions in Maine that you shouldn't miss out on.

Most of the best attractions in Maine are related to its incredible landscape and scenery. It is also a wonderful place to take photographs of Maine's amazing scenery, like the dramatic rocky cliffs overlooking the ocean. Some other great attractions in Maine for those who love the outdoors are camping on Moosehead Lake, climbing the mountains bordering the town of Camden, and taking part in some of L.L. Bean's outdoor adventures, which include skeet shooting, snowshoeing, kayaking, and biking.

Maine is a haven for antique lovers, with some of the best shops for antiques and collectibles in the country.
