Yogurt fruit dip varieties are plentiful as they can be made using a wide array of ingredients. Some types of yogurt fruit dip are made from fruit-flavored yogurt or fruit juice, such as lemon juice. Yogurt fruit dips can also feature spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg, to enhance the flavor of the fruit being served with the dip. Low-fat and low-calorie yogurt fruit dip options are also available.

Honey is often used to sweeten yogurt fruit dip. Honey-lime fruit dip features honey, lime juice and zest of lime. Coconut-honey fruit dip features cream-style cottage cheese, honey and flaked coconut. Tropical fruit dip features pina colada yogurt, cream cheese with honey and grated cheese.

Low-fat yogurt fruit dip versions can be made using sugar-free and low-calorie ingredients. Easy low-fat fruit dip is a simple combination of low-fat, vanilla yogurt and sugar-free whipped topping. Low-calorie fruit dip is made with low-fat yogurt, light whipped topping and a sugar substitute. Skinny fruit dip features cottage cheese, low-sugar orange marmalade and honey. These ingredients are combined with low-fat yogurt and orange juice.
