I really like sweet and sour sauce, but most of the pre-made stuff you find at the store is no good. Does anyone have a good recipe for making it at home?

Thai peanut sauce is one of my all time favorite sauces. It tastes good on anything, not just Thai food. I have even eaten it with burgers and fries before.

While it is not exactly a sweet sauce, it does have some sweetness to it. When I make it I usually use pineapple juice to give it some sugar.

When I order pizza I really like to get the cinnamon sticks with the vanilla cream for dipping. I have realized recently how easy it would be to make cinnamon sticks at home, but I am not sure how I would replicate the frosting. It is thinner than most frosting. Could I just mix frosting with milk or cream? If anyone has tried this before please let me know.
