Cinnamon toothpicks are either made from cinnamon wood or other woods that have been soaked in oil of cinnamon. People use cinnamon toothpicks for a variety of reasons, including oral hygiene, breath freshening, or to address negative lifestyle habits such as smoking or overeating. Some people also very much enjoy and appreciate the aroma and taste of cinnamon and may even use cinnamon toothpicks to add extra flavor to hors d'oeuvres.

In many countries, including the United States, cinnamon is a very popular and commonly used flavoring agent. This spice is often used to flavor candies and gums as well as desserts and pastries. Many cultures also use cinnamon in a variety of savory dishes, including meats, potatoes, and vegetables. Cinnamon is naturally sweet, and some researchers believe that inhaling its aroma can have positive effects on a person's mental state.

Historically many people have used toothpicks as a way of keeping their teeth clean and protecting their gums from irritation. Many restaurants, for example, provide toothpicks to customers as they depart. I've had a lot of dental work done which is a little problematic for me after eating. I need to rinse my mouth and use a toothpick after meals to feel comfortable. Cinnamon toothpicks have been a savior in this sense. My family used to buy these when I was a kid and I suddenly remembered them. I love the cinnamon flavor that remains in my mouth after using them. It's a great way to clean the palate as well.

@fBoyle-- My husband is using them to curb his cigarette cravings and habit. Cinnamon sticks are working for him but I'm not sure if they will work for you. If you are missing having a cigarette in your mouth, I think they will help. You can chew on a cinnamon toothpick for several hours to keep your mind off of cigarettes. The cinnamon flavor will also help reduce the nicotine cravings.

Just make sure to read some product reviews before buying cinnamon toothpicks because some brands are better than others. My husband likes cinnamon toothpicks with a strong, hot cinnamon flavor that lasts a long time. Some cinnamon toothpicks do not have enough cinnamon oil and the flavor is very mild. They might not work so well, so find a brand that delivers in terms of flavor.

Do cinnamon toothpicks really help people quit smoking? Has anyone used them for this purpose? Would you recommend them?
