This is roughly equivalent to the combined populations of the world’s 50 smallest countries. Walmart employs about 1.3 million workers in the US and 96,800 people in China. Worldwide, there are more than 9,000 Walmart stores, and they serve about 200 million customers every week. It is estimated that every second, 330 people are purchasing items from the company, with yearly spending averages of $4,000 US Dollars (USD) for a family of four.
