How Big Is the International Space Station?

The International Space station is 79 yards (72.3 m) long, more than 118 yards (108.5 m) wide and 66 feet (20 m) tall, and it takes up about the area of an American football field. It can house a full-time crew of six astronauts and cosmonauts at one time, and it can support additional visitors. The crew engages in scientific research while on board.
